Not really related to this topic, but as Bluey is quoting Withnail and I on each post I figured it could kind of slip in anywhere. Who is looking forward to the new Richard E Grant and Tony McGann thing?

I didn't know they were doing something together. Surely they aren't making a sequel?

Who cares?

Withnail and I, absolutely rubbish. I can only watch about ten minutes of it and then it's OFF!

A marmite thing, I suppose. You either like it, or you hate it!

It was in the papers they were doing something together again, but as I never saw Withnail, I didn't care enough to remember what the new stuff is...

It was very much a film of it's time. It may have passed by those who's time has also passed... ':-

(Starz of course is not of her time, so all times eblong to her. This film is therefore of her time  )

I quite fancy Richard E Grant, although I'm going off him a bit now.

Or I might just have been out of the country: it's an 80's film and I was hardly here throughout the 80's. But I probably wouldn't have seen it anyway - I've never been a big movies fan.

Being out of the country - pah! What sort of excuse is that?

For what? My time being past or not seeing Withnail (which I'd never even heard of until it was in the papers recently: how good does that make it? )

Just because something isn't from my time doesn't mean I can;t appreciate it.
I'm sure some of you appreciate Mozart, Beethoven, Bach etc- weren't they before your time?

Well, perhaps not before Dave's time.

Remember X was born before the stone age. They didn't have streets then.
