Yes! H.B.O. who make Dexter padded the storyline out beautifully, so much so, you find yourself finishing the book wishing that the author had included the extra details, I wont tell you everthing but the book focuses mainly on the hunt for the icetruck killer and Dexters justified yet murderous exploits. ( Never thought I would find method in the madness of a killer, but Dexter is a wonderful antihero.)

Resist if you can, this link to Dexter site, SPOILERS ARE INEVITABLE.
But well worth knowing Series 2 and 3 on there way.

Thanks, Charlie. Yes, he's a wonderful character, very skillfully written and acted - I find myself cheering him on, which feels so good, but feels so wrong!
