Do you mean Cornwell, as in Patricia, or a book about Cornwall?

Have just read "Darkly Dreaming Dexter" by Jeff Lindsay from which the series "Dexter" on Itv is based. I watched it on F.X and was hooked. The show was very true to the book but with far more subplots, oh and a slightly different ending.
Started reading the second novel "Dearly Devoted Dexter" and its way better than the first.

I love Dexter on the telly! I noticed this week that it's based on a book and was wondering whether to get hold of a copy. I think I'll wait until I've seen the whole series, but you've inspired me now to make sure and read it. Sounds like my Summer holiday reading is sorted. :)

Well be sure to read the second book because if you have watched the series you will find the first book lacking many of the plot twists and turns which make it so enjoyable to watch.
Dont get me wrong its a fab book but if they had included every detail of the series it would have been superb......and verry long.

I'm a little confused ... isn't the series based on the book? So does that mean they added things to the series that weren't in the book? (Please be careful how you answer this - I don't want to know what's going to happen!)
