I do have a copy of 'Submarine' by Tom Clancy floating around unread somewhere. I plumped for Sword Song by Bernard Cornwall. Havn't done any historical novels for a while, and Benard does write some cracking stuff

What are you reading these days, Starz? (Assuming that modern youth still knows what a book is... )

Um, a few. Stephen Fry's Autobiography 'Moab is My Washpot', 'Goodbye Again' (sadly I was an only twin) a Peter Cook and Dudley Moore tribute, David Mitchell's 'Black Swan Green', and Stephen Fry's 'The Ode Less Travelled'. Last night I tried breaking the rather scary shell of David Mitchell's 'Cloud Atlas', but alas, it demands more concentrated reading than that which occurs at beddy-byes time.

This is David Mitchell the author, by the by, not the comedian whom I have decided I love too, along with his comedy partner Robert Webb. Dear me. Is it the hormones, or am I just a filthy little *ahem* insert dirty little word here.
