Amirillo off licences

Post by charliemonk » Wed Dec 05, 2007 9:54 pm

A faded memory of an advert using the song " Is this the way to ....." It was probably a totally different name, ending in " .....illo " but the y had liquer on cask and you could take your empties in and have them topped up.
Was it a dream....or the best recycling idea ever to not catch on.

Have you been enjoying too much of the liquer tonight? :crazy2: :drink:
? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.

Don't remember that at all, but the word might well be amarillo, the Spanish word for yellow. Except that a quick Google gives you this...

Armadillo sherry.
Sworn, b'loody!

Wow, back in the days when no-one new that song. Much.
Even a stopped clock tells the right time twice a day.
