Channel 4

You've probably worked this out. Current programmes you could live without.

? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.

Shouldn't there be an 's' in that, as they're dribbling at each other?

Channel 4 just gets better! Midway through tonight's Earl, they cut for the adverts. Nothing unusual in that, you may think, but tonight, they cut not in the middle of a scene, not in the middle of a speech or a sentence, but in the middle of a word!

They don't even have the screen that makes it obvious the programme or film is back on again any more. You know, where the screen shows a still from the film or something. They just show the sponsor clip and then get right back on with it.

I happened across some C4 programming last night. The programmes were sponsored by Grolsh - 'Sponsoring original comedy on Channel 4'. I had to chuckle, seeing as the fare on offer was 'The top 50 catchphrases', and an old 'Bo Selecta'... :?
