Hollyoaks

Post by mitsy » Wed May 30, 2007 3:34 pm

Just do not get the fascination at all but it seems I am subjected to watching it wherever I go: my mates houses, my Mum's, my Sisters even the local boozer. What a pile of :tongue2:

Hollyoaks must have it's own micro-climate, as the girls never seem to feel cold, which is great for us blokes.

Can't say I've ever watched it
? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.

I have never actually seen a whole episode of Hollyoaks, Neighbours, Home and Away, Desperate Housewives or Ugly Betty. Confessions of a nobody.

I leave Hope-'e-chokes, as we affectionately call it, on if there's nowt else on after the Simpsons.

I saw Desperate Housewives last night for the first time ever, but only because it was on between BigB and BigB's BM. What was Chris Moyles doing on the telly? Doesn't he know his face his perfect for radio? And Jeremy Whine as well. What are they putting him on the telly for? Ugh!

Hollyoaks, no.
Desperate Housewives, no
Ugly Betty, no

(Never seen an episode of any of them)

Now, for the confessions...
Home and Away - yes, I watched it until it moved from ITV to Channel 5. (Poor CH5 reception - no digital in those days)
Neighbours, yes, for most of the last 20-odd years
? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.

Starz, Starz. Have you been away to university (yet)? No? What do you think students do during the day?

Erm, I'm 14. So no. And when I'm a student, I'll be drinking in the DAY. Liquid lunches, oh yes. Or doing something of use, like plugging our comedy show to anyone who'll listen.

In those days, you had to do something before the pubs opened, and watching Aussie tottie, sorry, cultural daytime TV 8) , was an easy answer.

Nowadays, with 24 hour drinking...
