Deal or no Deal

I hate it. And any other panel shows on channel four or five. Yuck.
Sorry, that's my rant for today!

I hate it, too.
But I actually watch it near to the end, just to see how greedy they get. They're offered thousands of pounds, but their greed forces them to take chances, and 9 times out of ten... they end up with pennies.
Quite entertaining to see them looking gutted. The sudden realisation that they had thousands of pounds and now they've got nothing.
Having studied psycology and sociology at college I find it fascinating to see how people fit a particular pattern of 'self' and 'something for nothing'. And it's even funnier when they start to talk about, and use, formulas to win big money.... It's a game of chance, and guessing, you morons, wake up and smell the coffee.
There is also a lot to be said for the people who watch these programmes, as well.

Yup. Mind you- there has to be a crap-cool balance on TV otherwise you'd miss all the great programmes on the telly and have to end up taping everything!

And of course, you'd never get round to watching what you've taped, because you'd be too busy watching whatever's on all day!
Back to Deal or No Deal, what does the banker get out of it? He has to part with his cash regardless, right?

God knows. I just saw Noel thingy's ugly face and put my foot through the telly, a la Rik Mayall in the Young Ones. Now THERE'S some good telly.

Young One's.. top girl, top telly indeed.

Oh yes. I'm quite distinguished when it comes to telly over the years. I love old crap. Which is why I tolerate you, dear.

That smiley must convey your emotion well; it's as bald as you.
Wait a minute...
