Proper colour crisp packets

Post by pandammonium » Sun Dec 05, 2004 12:14 am

Salt and vinegar are meant to be light blue, not green.
Cheese and onion are meant to be green, not blue.

Why have they swapped it round?

Well, that's why I use the skill of 'reading' when I am shopping.

That's precisely why they shouldn't mess with the colours of crisp packets!

Salt'n'Shake are the best. Then you can throw the salt away and have potato flavoured crisps and a lower blood pressure. :D

I could never see the point in those salt and shake crisps. Why not buy crisps already pre salted? There was such a tiny amount of salt in the little blue packets you could barely taste it anyway. Years ago I used to work at a food packaging plant and they won a new contract to fill those little packets for Smiths. But this time with flavourings (smokey bacon, cheese and onion etc) rather than salt. We made millions of 'em but they never caught on.

Salt and Shake crisps were for people like me.

I like unsalted plain crisps. I threw the salt away.

Natural potato flavour. (Wierd ain't I :? )

I also like chips without salt or vinegar. (I do like Worcestershire Sauce on them though. )

Such a waste of salt... people have to go down the mines for precious minerals like that, you know.

Ooooh! That's going to be quite a hunt coz Ive been chucking them away for almost 50 years.

I promise not to throw them away again. I'll save them in a big box and donate it to the council for gritting the roads.
