No, it's not green, it's a the usual Marmitey colour...
? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.

Bluebottle wrote:Jamie Lee Grace was on t'radio this afternoon, saying the only way to eat Marmite was to take a small jar, add a bit of Marmite and a bit of butter, mix the two together then spread it on your toast. Naturally, nobody at work agreed with this (she is loopy anyway!). Does anybody out there eat Marmite like this?

I get a little pot and mix my marmite with salad cream. YUM YUM YUM YUM YUM! =P~ Used to like it with sandwich spread too, but the stuff nowadays is really lame and does not taste of sandwich spread at all..

Guiness marmite is nice, know it's alcohol free but it does taste Guinessey.

MMMMmmm salad cream on a buttered crust, white bread,it has too be white for some butties.

I agree sandwich spread isnt as tangy as it was, I always liked the little round pip (what was that, a mustard seed?) it popped between your teeth.
