Marmite

Post by Bluebottle » Tue Feb 27, 2007 8:30 pm

You either love it, or you hate it!

Anyone tried the new Guinness Marmite yet? There's a jar in the cupboard that's just calling out to be opened... :D

Marmite is the work of the devil! I really can't stand the brown muck.

It's a vile substance.

I had a summer job in a lab once, and I had to test some effluents for BOD, I think it was, and one of the reagents I had to use was Marmite. There was a jar of it in the fridge in the lab specially.

Yuk.

Jamie Lee Grace was on t'radio this afternoon, saying the only way to eat Marmite was to take a small jar, add a bit of Marmite and a bit of butter, mix the two together then spread it on your toast. Naturally, nobody at work agreed with this (she is loopy anyway!). Does anybody out there eat Marmite like this?
