Dr Whites

Those multichopper things marketed by KTel, slicers that took the skin off the end of your fingers. You get the idea.

I couldn't agree more. If you'd stuck wings on them, they'd have been the size of a Jumbo Jet.

I can remember my mum always bought packets of "towels" the size of the pack was akin to a pack of nappies. When I asked what they were she would say "wim wams for little ducks to perch on." I am still confused and slightly alarmed when I think about it.
I never understood why she always bought packets, nay, BAILS of towels and we still dried ourselves on scratchy purple bath sheets.

Your mum sounds a character! That's the most beautiful description of "ladies' things" that I've ever heard!

What are wim wams?! :-s

Yes... definitely ladies things

My mum refered to that particular part of girlie anatomy as a 'tuppie too' and sometimes a 'tuppence'
