Wash and Go

Post by Smurfy » Fri Jun 30, 2006 12:29 pm

'Take two bottles into the shower?' sneers an active looking woman, as if it's the most stupid idea she's ever heard. 'I like to just get in the shower, wash my hair, and GO!'

Ah yes, 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner - it seemed like the future of the hair and beauty industry. Yet 15 years on the only place I ever see Wash and Go is pound shops and the like. Most of the major brands do not produce 2 in 1s. You can even get Wash and Go separate shampoos and conditioners! So what happened? Were these just not such a good idea after all? Or did the industry realise they make less money when people only buy one product?

You shouldn't condition hair every time you wash it.
