I am sure you are describing Oat Crunchies. They were pillow sahped, hollow in the middle and went soggy when they sank into the milk.

O.k, newbies, you've had long enough. Spelling mistakes will be corrected.

Have a quick check before you submit.

That was a typing error, not a spelling mistake. And anyway, what if I were dyslexic? You could have deeply offended me.

Why don't you make a positive response to my contribution instead of slagging me off?

I am all for good spelling and grammar but making such a fuss about what is obviously a simple typo is childish.

If you are such sticklers for spelling, why:
a) Has no one corrected the title of the 'Confectionary' forum?
b) Does the so-called expert claim she is 'Licenced to Spell' instead of 'Licensed'?

Put your own house in order before criticising others.

Thanks smurfy. And fancy a linguistics expert not knowing about the infinitive form of the verb - to license!

Have a quiet cheek before you surmise.

And surely it should be either 'okay' or 'OK'. Not O.k.

Anyone seen this before? Pretty good, but nothing to do with breakfast cereal or spelling mistakes.

My parents have a freaky table-lamp like that - it's pyramid shaped with the face of Tutankhamen in it - and wherever you sit, he's always looking at you.
