" Yeast "

Post by charliemonk » Tue Feb 27, 2007 11:54 pm

A game we used to play, when you saw a really nice car you would shout "Yeast" before your mate could and that meant you claimed it.

"Yeast" was a predominantly car game but could also be used on the toy pages of Kays catalogue.

It was clearly the toys pages, as Charlie said, and I think Dave might be mixing up the Kays catalogue with an Ann Summers catalogue! (Do they do catalogues?)

How impertanant!!!! Dave & Blue.
Just because a girl happens to covet the pretty things of the catalogue you asume that she "Favours the flatter shoe".....HOW VERY DARE YOU!!

See, that's just the kind of thing I wasn't going to rant about wherever it was, but Dave immediately assumed there was "trouble in Paradise"

(I do prefer flat shoes, though!)

OOhhh Panda. Me thinks you got wrong end of stick! The reference to "flatter shoes" was a colloquialism, (if that is the right word, Im sure you will correct me when you realise what I was getting at.) But the boys kind of made a link to me (a girly) peeping at the lingeree section in a smutty way. Im not, and Im sure your not, wot with the wedding and the like.....not that theres anything wrong with folk having that "bent" but...oohh...HELP.....DIG,DIG,DIG......This is them boys faults!!

I've never heard the 'flatter shoe' reference (clearly, neither has Panda!), but I cottoned on to your meaning.

Do you go for the long, pointy stiletto instead?

...and there was no inference to the "flatter shoe" intended, I just thought you might be looking through the lingerie section (as girls do), on your way to the toys page.

I got the right end, alright, hence the first part of my post. I was just being literal with the second part. Sorry to have made you dig a big hole - here, have a rope *throws rope in after Charlie*
