AC Cobra

Post by verytalldave » Sat Dec 02, 2006 6:46 am

Cars I would drool over - before I bought my first car which was a rather boring but reliable Hillman Imp were........................
7 litre AC Cobra - just because it was the first road car to do a sub 10 second 0-100mph
Lamborghini Muira - just because of its shape and its top speed was over 170mph
Ferrari Dino 246 - Because of its shape - and I still want one
Monterverdi 450 - Because the name sounded cool
Trident Venturer or Clipper - British made supercars with yank big block engines. Wonderful.
Gilbern Invader - Welsh car with a ford v6. Still want one.
Bristol - Proper ENGLISH supercars - and still are today.
Lotus 7 - just for the rush

My dad had one of them, once.

He was driving home from work one night and all the electrics behind the dash caught fire.
