cabana bars

Post by van » Fri Dec 03, 2004 11:23 am

Some time has passed, too much time, since I last purchased or even viewed, a CABANA bar. That little bit of coconut and cherry dream that was able to transport the muncher to far away lands of sun, sea and british pubs.
What do you consider to be the nearest replacement ? The lovely, but sober Bounty is obviously a contender, but without the little bitsof cherry, it just seems to be the promise that never will be.............

Yes the cabana really was a very nice bar, and there is a gap in the market for it, I feel. I think they died out within the last ten years?

It was a slow and painful death. They lost their cherries then went coconuts.

Does anyone know if there is a site on the net where you can get these and Texan bars? I have an idea for a stocking filler to fill a box/stocking with all the old sweets/chocolates and these are proving impossible to get.

You could try http://www.bagofsweets.com or http://www.aquarterof.co.uk

They both do boxes of retro sweeties
? I must have some booze. I demand to have some booze.
? This place has become impossible. Nothing to eat, freezing cold and now a madman on the prowl outside with eels.
