Pinky & Perky

Like Superman on the radio (great for the imagination), likewise Journey Into Space, or the TeleGoons. Showing my age now!!

I saw some of "Top of the Pops" last week - aren't Pinky and Perky singing backing to Akon's "Lonely"?

Pinky and Perky were great.
As was Captain Pugwash, Champion the Wonder Horse, The Forest Rangers, The Lone Ranger, Cisco Kid, The Buccaneers, Supercar, Torchy the Battery Boy, Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear, Magpie and I must not forget Muffin the Mule, Andy Pandy or the Flowerpot men.

Memo to self......I must get out more..........

What about The Woodentops, Mary, Mungo and Midge, Captian Scarlet, The Hair Bear Bunch, Hong Kong Phuey and the rest...

Yes, I think we could both ramble on for days on this subject.

Too right.

I think there is a thread somewhere on here, where we actually did ramble on for days.

They're coming back: today's Metro had an article about it. Apparently they'll be computer-generated rather than puppets, though...

Pah! Rubbish.

It was the puppetry that made them good.
