Like Superman on the radio (great for the imagination), likewise Journey Into Space, or the TeleGoons. Showing my age now!!

Kabaddi

Anybody watch this years ago on Channel 4 (Saturday mornings, I think)? Some bizarre Indian sport. Never did quite understand the rules, but it made facinating viewing

It's coming back :)

I saw a trailer for it the other day.

Absolutely pointless game, played by Pakistani's or Indian's, not sure which.
Two teams of five men stand at each end of a sandy area marked out about 20 foot square and one man from one side tries to get to the other side without being touched, or caught, or something. Absolutely weird to watch and pointless, and the opposing team keep saying 'Putt, putt, putt" all the time.
I've never understood the rules... or even know what the rules are! :?

Apparently, it's really big over there. AFAIR, the 'putt putt putt' thing is something to do with having to hold your braeth, and to prove you're not inhaling, you have to say 'putt putt puut' (or whatever) :?

Must watch it when it starts again.

Let's see if we can work out the rules, Bluey?

*approving snigger* Although I'd be more tempted to substitute "cricket" for "football".

Oh, I don't mind cricket. I'd just rather play football, rugby or cricket than sit and watch it.

Hmmm, watch the match, or watch paint dry?
No contest.

Lovely shade of blue, there.

Come on England!

Unfortunately I'll be on duty when the match is on, but I'm sure someone will be listening to it and transmitting it over the airwaves. :)

That's what you're paying your taxes for.
