An 80s detective show about a man ( recently a doctor on Casualty) who could morph into an animal.

Was that the same guy? I thought he looked familiar...

Yup, that's Simon MacCorkindale - he of the flared nostrils.

(Trivia: he used to be married to Fiona Fullerton, and later married Susan George - I'm not sure if they're still together, though).

I loved it when his skin would bubble up and he changed into whatever the zoo would lend them that week.

Mia from Space 1999 had a deal going with the zoo as well, me thinks! And when they would'nt lend her a panther or an owl she would just turn into a "sleeping bag monster."

I don't remember this show. :?

I do remember the Zoo Gang, though. Does that count? :)
