Some of us were born to laughter, some of us grew up to laughter...

Oh I give up. It was greatness anyway.

Did you have laughter thrust upon you?

What should I do?

You should try learning Japanese  - I'm learning it at the moment :?
Do you know the Japanese don't have an equivalent for "a" and "the" - and when you are talking to someone informally you don't need to use pronouns "I" and "you"

Ohayu gosiamasu (Pronounced - Ohio goz-io maz) - which is Good Morning

A way-delayed reply, since Slippy only just told me about this site....

I've been married to a Japanese lady for nearly 30 years and learned some in the first flush of my enthusiasm. Reading and writing aside, it's a nice easy language to get started on - but when you get to 'respect' language (like tu & vous in French) it gets wonderfully complicated: there's four levels, not two - and it applies to not only who you're talking to, but who you're talking about. Saying how many of anything gets a bit learning-intensive, too, even if the numbers themselves are easy.

If I can help in any way (e.g. by asking the wife) do let me know. :)
Sworn, b'loody!
